Data Solution Architect BI and Analytics (m/f/d)

You own the evaluation of possible alternative solutions and are responsible for the design and introduction of new products, applications and features, covering business needs and requirements.

What you will create

• Understand the business context, collect business requirements and evaluate potential solutions to cover business needs
• Design applicable solutions, resulting in one or many IT products, applications and features
• Lead solution implementation and ensure adherence of technology to the business requirements and expected outcomes
• Manage and develop the integrated application architecture for one or multiple projects, working closely with technical experts (internal and external) that manage technical designs and developments
• Oversee project delivery in terms of scope, quality and usability
• Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies
• Consult with application and infrastructure development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to architecture and identifiy when it is necessary to modify projects to accommodate solutions
• Identifiy the organizational impact (on skills, processes, structures or culture) and financial impact of solutions
• Document all solution architecture design and analysis work; sign-off of solution design and test scope
• Drive estimation of effort and capacity required for the delivery
• Work closely with the program management/project management to ensure execution as planned
• Run second and/or third-level support for process and technology-related subjects
• If applicable: Functional leadership and responsibility within area of expertise as assigned by the responsible superior
• Design and develop dashboards, reports and KPIs and identify and evaluate analytics use cases Design and implement analytic models
• Collaborate closely with master data and data science teams on building complex data & analytical assets

Your profile

• +2 years of experience in a similar role
• Successfully completed degree in economics, industrial engineering or business information technology or similar

• Several years of relevant professional experience and familiarity in the IT project environment

• Good knowledge of Business Intelligence (SAP BW, SAP BO tools: e.g. BO Analysis, BEx Query Designer, SAP Analytics Cloud)
• In-depth knowledge of analytical models (e.g. classification, time series, machine learning) and their application in R and/or Python is preferred
• Understanding in BI data models (SAP BW on HANA, BW/4, DWC)
• Very good knowledge of MS Office especially Excel
• Good knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA (MM, FI, CO, PP, SD) are beneficial
• Good knowledge of DataOps & MLOps is preferred
• Strong leadership, service orientation & analytic skills
• Strong project management skills preferably in Scrum methodology
• Very good English skills, intercultural competencies and excellent communication skills Autonomous and solution-oriented working practices, analytical and conceptual thinking abilities Team-oriented working behaviour
• Fluent in English, German would be nice but not necessary
